"Imagine Pulizter Prize fighting..."

I'm interviewing Steven Wright next week. I imagine (or at least hope) I'll spend a good portion of my 10-minute phoner stifling laughter.

Besides not having to deal with mammograms, there are some other benefits to your job. Talking to Steven Wright seems like it will be one.

I kind of feel sorry for Steven Wright, he's really hilarious but it must take so much time for him to come up with those kind of jokes, then test them and find the really, really good ones. His act is a scream, but it kind of reminds me of the tiny slug of gold that comes out of many giant dump trucks of ore.

Mitch Hedberg's act was pretty similar to his, at least in terms of the observational, surrealist humor. I heard him on the XM Comedy channel and was immensely disappointed to find out he had died.

Have fun!
